In general, any shipments scheduled to ship on a holiday will go out on the next business day and will arrive one day later than usual. 

  • During Independence Week, all shipments will be scheduled to arrive by Thursday July 3rd. 
  • During Thanksgiving week, all shipments will be scheduled to arrive by Wednesday. 
  • During Christmas Week 2008 and New Year's Week 2009, all shipments will arrive by Wednesday.

NOTE: If you will be traveling for the Christmas holidays, we strongly suggest arranging for your shipment to arrive at least 2 business days prior to your date of departure.   FedEx traditionally experiences significant delays during the week before Christmas.  Proper planning reduces the risk of a missed or delayed shipment.
